OSLO (Reuters), Several victims were left with serious injuries after a gunman used a bow and arrows on Wednesday to attack the Norwegian village of Kongsberg. Local police confirmed this.

According to Oeyvind, Oas was the chief of police and told reporters that “the man has been arrested… based on what we know now, this individual carried out these acts alone.”

Aas stated that “many people were injured, and many are deceased”. The number of casualties was not disclosed by Aas.

According to police, the attack took place in Kongsberg, which is home to around 28,000 residents, according Police.

Monica Maeland (Norway’s minister for justice and security) received information about the attack and was monitoring closely the situation.
