U.S. administers 404.4 million doses of COVID-19 vaccines

(Reuters) – The United States had distributed 489,254,145 COVID-19 doses and administered 404,371,247 COVID-19 doses as of Wednesday morning, according to the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

These numbers are higher than the 483576,826 doses of vaccine that the CDC reported had been given by the CDC as of Oct. 12, out the total of 488,178 975 doses.

According to the agency, 217,627.490 individuals had at least received one dose and 187,937.559 were fully vaccinated by 6:00 AM. ET on Wednesday

Two-dose vaccinations are included in the CDC tally Moderna (NASDAQ:) and Pfizer/BioNTech, as well as Johnson & Johnson (NYSE:)’s one-shot vaccine.

A booster dose of one was given to approximately 8.90 million people Pfizer Moderna’s vaccine (NYSE:) since August 13, 2013, when the United States approved a third dose for those with compromised immune systems, who may have less protection than the two-dose regimens.
