UnitedHealth rides on Optum strength to beat profit estimates By Reuters

(Reuters] – UnitedHealth Group Inc. (NYSE:), beat analysts’ expectations for third-quarter profits on Thursday. The increase in revenue generated by its Optum unit, which administers drugs benefits, was a major contributor to the company’s improvement in profitability.

It is America’s largest health insurance company and offers data analysis services for healthcare through the fast-growing Optum division.
