Deutsche Bank names new co-head for international private bank in New York By Reuters

(Reuters). Deutsche Bank (DE) On Thursday Named Wells Fargo Amrit Waila, executive at Private Bank in New York as co-head of the New York unit within their international private bank (IPB), Americas.
Walia was appointed almost three months after seven bankers were hired by the IPB. Citigroup Inc (NYSE :), Bank of America Corp(NYSE:) and Goldman Sachs® Wealth Management were all created to help the company grow in this region.
Walia has been designated as managing director. He co-heads IPB’s New York operations alongside Anthony Valvo, who serves as IPB’s Miami head.
German lender IPB offers wealth management and advisory services for high-net-worth people and their families.
Walia, a 25-year industry veteran, managed Wells Fargo Private Bank’s wealth management strategy and business across high net worth, ultra-high networth, and wealthy client segments.
Walia, based in New York reports to Arjun Naarkatti, IPB’s head in the Americas.
