DailyCoin was looking for good blockchain gaming projects as it walked around Dubai Crypto Expo 2021. While hunting for the next big thing, our eagle eyes were drawn to the frightening word “Safe…”

After a few fractional combat flashbacks from the “SafeMoon” battlefield, it took a few moments to ascertain the full name of the project, which was “SafeHamsters.”

It was obvious that the project was gaming-related by the large cartoonish hamster displayed on the banner. So naturally, the next step was for them to see what games they have.

“The whole principle of our project is ‘fun and rich’. We are all hamsters and we are all in crypto for some time,”
the project’s CBO and co-founder Hanna Berezhna said in answer to our first question.

We were definitely more interested in the “fun” part than the other. Many gaming projects promise immediate income after they have purchased tons of NFTs. But what we’re interested in is, what is the gameplay like? We play video games because we love the fun they provide.

“It’s a combination of Pokémon Go + + all other traditional gaming,”
Berezhna continued, feeding our curiosity.

A virtual pet blockchain-based game. Is there a shortage of these virtual pets? These are the top-selling pets: Binamon and Ethermon; Axie Infinity, Axie Infinity, Aavegotchi. This one is different from the rest.

“It’s an AR 3D blockchain game on blockchain and for iOS and Android,”
Berezhna explained, immediately answering the question that hadn’t been voiced yet.

An AR game on blockchain really is something new, as so far, there has only been a thimble’s worth of them! The difficulty in creating the game has always been the problem. AR Cards for the Nintendo 3DS was the only good AR game that I have tried.

“[A]In November, play-to earn mode will be available. However, the beta is available right now,”
Berezhna ended her presentation in a confident manner.

It means the game is available for you to test. It is now up to you to decide if it will be enjoyable.

Flipside

  • This demo looks too inexperienced. A game cannot exist on one unique feature alone, and It feels more like a clicker than a fully fledged virtual pet RPG that is expected with comparisons to Pokémon.
  • It seems that the developers have tried to rush development in an effort to reach Dubai before time. The AR feature is the most unique, but the gameplay isn’t very appealing.
