LEIGH-ON-SEA in England (Reuters – British Prime Minister Boris Johnson was on Saturday at the church where David Amess, a British lawmaker, had been stabbed to death a few days earlier. Police are now treating it as a terrorist attack.
Amess (69), from Johnson’s Conservative Party was repeatedly knifed in the attack in Leigh-on-Sea east of London at around midday Friday. This happened during a meeting between constituents.
Johnson, Priti Patel (interior minister) and Keir Starmer, leader of Labour Party, were some of those who laid flowers at Amess’s murder scene.
