Virgin Galactic stock (SPCE) has fallen 67% since record highs in 2021. Many growth stocks that had enjoyed stellar run after great runs have seen their momentum drop in 2021 due to weak financials and expensive research and development. As growth stocks generally trade at steep valuations compared to their revenue and earnings, it’s enticing when they are available at a lower multiple.

Virgin Galactic Holdings is one example of such a stock (NYSE:), that more than doubled in 2020 but is currently down 15% year to-date. Virgin Galactic’s stock has fallen 67% since its all-time highs. SPCE is an aerospace firm that creates spaceflights for humans and scientists in the United States. The company also produces space and air vehicles.
