European Stock Futures Higher; Evergrande Coupon News Helps -Breaking

Investing.com. European stock market are likely to open higher Friday thanks to Asia’s gains, as reported by China’s embattled property organization. Evergrande Was set up to pay interest on an $1 bond in order to avoid default.

2.10 am ET (0610 GMT): The German contract traded flat. In France, the contract climbed 0.5% while in England it rose 0.3%.

China Evergrande Group, HK:, remitted $83.5million in coupon payments to a Citibank trustee accounts on Thursday. According to Reuters’ report, this means the highly indebted business will be able, before Oct. 23, to pay interest for all bondholders.

In Europe, U.K. declined by 0.2% over September and dropped 1.3% for the year. The country also saw an increasing number Covid infections.

A release of the October PMI data in Germany, France, Britain, and the European Union will be of particular interest on Friday.

Corporate sector Renault The French automaker warned of production loss in 2021 as a result of shortages in semiconductor chips. This warning was made public by PA:

U.S. semiconductor company Intel (NASDAQ;) published a weaker-than-expected sales report on Thursday. This was due to a shortage of chips in its industry.

The flipside is also possible Remy Cointreau ‘s (PA:) sales rose by a stronger-than-expected 23.7% in the second quarter, boosted by strong demand for its premium cognac in the United States, China and Europe. 

Late Thursday, posted better-than-expected third-quarter revenue growth, with the world’s largest cosmetics company boosted by continued strong demand from Chinese consumers.

Crude prices edged lower Friday, continuing the previous session’s selling after Russian President Vladimir Putin indicated that a group of top producers, known as OPEC+, could increase supply by more than had previously been announced.

These comments were made after oil rose to its highest point since 2014. This was due to a global energy crisis, which was triggered by shortages of coal in China, India, and Europe. Power providers switched to diesel and to fuel oil. The pandemic has also led to a wider economic recovery. 

The futures fell 0.9% at $81.81/barrel by 2:10 AM ET while contract prices were down 0.9% at $83.86

Also, the price of gold rose 0.4% at $1,788.35/oz while it traded 0.1% lower at 1.1625
