Washington subway to continue reduced service through at least Oct. 31 -Breaking

© Reuters. WASHINGTON (Reuters), – Washington’s subway system has announced that its subway service will be reduced sharply through Oct. 31, as it finalizes plans to bring most of the railcars into service following an Oct. 12-related derailment.
Following inspections after the railcar derailment, the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority was directed to remove approximately 60% of its subway railcars. Metro is the name of the metro system that runs from Washington DC to parts Maryland and Virginia. It serves as the U.S capital.
