U.S. administers nearly 412 million doses of COVID-19 vaccines

(Reuters) – The United States had distributed 501.613,665 COVID-19 doses and administered 411,963,025 COVID-19 doses to the nation as of Friday morning, according to the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

These figures represent an increase from 411,010.650 vaccine doses that the CDC stated had reached arms as of Thursday’s 498.702,405 delivered doses.

According to the agency, 219,9005,525 individuals had at least received one dose and 190,179 553, people were fully vaccinated by 6:00 AM. ET, Friday

Two-dose vaccinations are included in the CDC tally Moderna (NASDAQ:) and Pfizer/BioNTech, as well as Johnson & Johnson (NYSE:)’s one-shot vaccine.

A booster dose of one was administered to approximately 12 million people. Pfizer Moderna’s vaccine (NYSE:) since August 13, 2013, when the United States approved a third dose for those with compromised immune systems, who may have less protection than the two-dose regimens.
