LONDON, (Reuters) – British supermarket Tesco (OTC) stated on Sunday that its app and website were disrupted in an attempted attack to its systems.

We’ve experienced disruptions to our online grocery app and website since yesterday. Tesco spokeswoman said that an attempt had been made to interfer with our systems, causing problems with the site’s search function.

According to the company, there is no evidence that customer data has been compromised.

At 1145 GMT, the Tesco website seemed to be working normally.
