China studying mechanism to stabilise coal prices over long-run

REUTERS/Tingshu WangSINGAPORE (Reuters) – China’s top economic planner, the National Development & Reform Commission, said on Tuesday it is studying a mechanism to stabilise coal prices over the long run.
It stated that the agency was looking at the profitability and costs of coal to determine a way to help prices move in a sensible range.
