Visa A Earnings, Revenue Beat in Q4 -Breaking

© Reuters. In Q4, Visa A Beats RevenueVisa (NYSE) – Investing.com reported Tuesday that the fourth quarter beat analyst forecasts, and that revenue exceeded expectations.
Visa A reported earnings per share at $1.62 for revenue $6.56B. Investing.com polled analysts and predicted an EPS of $1.55 for $6.52B in revenue.
Visa A shares rose 5% over the first of the year. However, they are 8.23% off their 52 week peak of $252.61 on July 27. These shares are outperforming Nasdaq, which has risen 18.21% since the beginning of the year.
After-hours trading for Visa A shares rose by 0.35% following the release.
Other major earnings in the services sector this month are followed by Visa A
Visa A reports on Netflix’s October 19 earnings beat. Netflix reported EPS for $7.48B at $3.19, while Visa A forecasts an EPS of $2.57 with revenue $7.48B.
Verizon beat all expectations with a third quarter EPS at $1.41 on $32.9B revenue, as compared to $1.37 forecasted on $33.23B revenue.
