‘Rust’ producers hire lawyers after fatal on-set shooting

The appointment of Jenner & Block comes just hours after the Sante Fe County district attorney told The New York TimesEverything, even criminal charges are on the table at this moment.
The producers of “Rust” wrote to their cast and crew, stating that Occupation Health and Safety Administration (NBC News) is currently looking into the death at work of Hutchins.
“In addition to cooperating with authorities, we hired a legal team from Jenner & Block to conduct an investigation of the events” the memo said. “We stressed the fact that they have complete discretion over who they interview, and which conclusions they reach.”
