The third quarter of Kraft Heinz (NASDAQ 🙂 was reported Wednesday by Investing.com. It beat forecasts and generated revenue above expectations.

Kraft Heinz reported earnings per share at $0.65 for $6.32B in revenue. Investing.com polled analysts and predicted EPS at $0.5772 for $6.04B in revenue.

Kraft Heinz shares have risen 5% since the start of the year but are still 18.93% below the 52-week high of $44.95 on May 24, which was $44.95 at the time. Their performance is below that of Kraft Heinz, which has risen 20.73% since the start.

Kraft Heinz follows other major Consumer/Non-Cyclical sector earnings this month

Kraft Heinz’s report follows an earnings beat by Procter&Gamble on October 19, who reported EPS of $1.61 on revenue of $20.34B, compared to forecasts EPS of $1.59 on revenue of $19.83B.

PepsiCo beat all expectations with the third quarter earnings per share of $1.79 on $20.19B in revenue, as compared to $1.73 forecast on $19.39B revenue.
