GM upbeat on full-year earnings despite quarterly profit drop -Breaking

DETROIT, (Reuters) – General Motors Co. (NYSE) posted Wednesday a decrease in quarterly profits, citing the global shortage of semiconductors, but maintained that it is on track to report full-year earnings near the top end of its forecast.
