China’s August exports to North Korea up for third month By Reuters

BEIJING (Reuters) – China’s exports to North Korea rose for the third straight month in August, but were still a fraction of their pre-COVID levels, Chinese customs data showed on Saturday.

The August Chinese shipment to North Korea rose to $22.5million from $16.8million in July. This compares to $219 million in exports for August 2019.

China imported $6.2million worth of goods from North Korea in August. This is an increase of $4.1million in July.
