KFC parent Yum Brands misses comparable sales estimates -Breaking

Yum Brands Inc, KFC’s owner missed its quarterly comparable sales estimates on Thursday due to weaker than expected demand for its fried chickens and pizzas. Consumers were also dissatisfied with rising concern over the Delta coronavirus.

Yum Brands saw comparable sales jump 5% in the third quarter. Yum Brands also owns Taco Bell and Pizza Hut chains. According to Refinitiv, IBES, this was below the 6.5% average increase.
