France stocks higher at close of trade; CAC 40 up 0.38% -Breaking

Investing.com – France stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.

As the Paris market closed, the gained 0.38%, bringing it to a 1-month peak, while the index increased 0.30%.

EssilorLuxottica SA(PA:), with a rise of 3.49%, or 6.04 points, to close at 178.90. AXA SA, (PA:), added 3.05% (0.74 points) to close at 25,16 Societe Generale Late trade saw SA (PA) rise 1.76%, or 0.50 points, to 28,84

They were also the session’s worst performers Worldline SA (PA:), fell 3.58% to 50.38, or 1.87 point at the close. Compagnie de Saint Gobain SA, (PA) fell 2.18% (1.33) points to finish at 59.56. Veolia Environnement VE SA was down 1.84% (0.53 points) until 28.23.

Television Francaise 1 SA (PA :), which rose 6.99% at 9.26, and DBV Technologies(PA 🙂 were the top performers on SBF 120. They both increased 5.89% to reach 5.76. Ubisoft Entertainment (PA:), which saw a gain of 3.88% and closed at 45.23

Worldline SA, (PA:), was at its worst. It fell by 3.58% and reached 50.38 late in trade. Solutions 30SE (PA:), however, lost 3.34% to settle on 7.82. Nexity (PA:), which fell 3.14% to 39.48 by the end.

The Paris Stock Exchange saw rising stocks surpass declining ones by 312-297, and 95 ended the same.

EssilorLuxottica SA shares (PA:), rose to new highs, gaining 3.49%. This equates to 6.04 to 179.90. Worldline SA’s shares (PA:), fell by 3.58%, or 1.87 to 51.38. AXA SA shares (PA:), rose to 52-week peak; an increase of 3.05%, or 0.74 to 25,16. Societe Generale SA shares rose to 52-week peak; up 3.76%, 0.74 to 25.16. Television Francaise 1 SA (PA) shares reached 52-week heights. They rose 6.99%, or 0.61 to 926. Worldline SA’s shares fell by 3.58%, or 1.87 to 51.38.

The December delivery of Gold Futures was lower by 1.31%, or 23.65, to $1778.95 per troy ounce. In commodities trading, crude oil for December delivery rose 0.1%, or 0.11, to $82.92 per barrel. The January Brent oil contract dropped 0.01 or 0.01% to $83.65 per barrel.

EUR/USD fell by 1.10%, to 1.1550. EUR/GBP was at 0.8440.

At 94.203, the US Dollar Index Futures rose 0.94%.
