Ethereum sets new ATH as Altair upgrade goes live By BTC Peers

Altair upgrades Ethereum to enable Ethereum to set a new ATH

Over the last 24 hours, the price of has risen to an all-time record high. This may have been due to the Altair upgrade.

After rallying towards $4300, the market capitalization of second largest cryptocurrency, the price dropped to $4,000. Yesterday, however, the network received its third upgrade in seven month. This prompted a new bullish run.

Data from CoinMarketCap shows that Ethereum reached a record high of $4.449 Friday, according to CoinMarketCap. The top altcoin traded at $4,369.

Altair upgrades, which may have inspired the bull market, are yet another step in implementing Ethereum 2.0.

In August, the London Upgrade was implemented. Ethereum’s average usage in terms of daily gas spiked by around 9% after the upgrade, BTC PEERS reported.

Ethereum traders believe that Ethereum will continue its bullish run.

Bybt reports that more than $1.2Billion in ETH options will expire Friday. More than half the forecasts for the asset’s future value were favorable to it exceeding $4,500.

If this happens, it will be another record set by cryptocurrency. It has already broken many records in the past year.
