Amazon lifts mask mandate for fully vaccinated warehouse workers

AmazonIt is reducing its requirement that warehouse workers be fully vaccinated by removing their mask requirements

CNBC was informed by an Amazon notice that employees of fully vaccinated operations in the U.S. won’t have to cover their faces at work starting Tuesday.

The notice says that vaccines are available in all 50 states and the rates of vaccination continue to increase, which allows us to go back to our old mask policy.

Amazon spokesmen confirmed that the company was changing their warehouse mask policy. The spokesperson said that Amazon is continuing to review all Covid safety measures, based upon guidance from internal medical professionals and public health officials.

Amazon claimed that employees are fully vaccinated when it’s been more than 2 weeks since the last vaccine was administered. Amazon’s employee portal called “A-Z” requires workers to show proof that they have been vaccinated.
