LONDON (Reuters – Britain claimed Tuesday that France released a British-operated scallop dredger, which was seized last Wednesday in French waters close to Le Havre. The UK welcomed Paris’s decision of resolving a dispute over fishing.

British Environment Secretary George Eustice answered a question about whether the Cornelis Gert Jan had been freed. That vessel is now free, according to what I have heard.

Eustice stated to Sky that it was a French decision to rescind their threats. “We are happy for that.”
