Biden says he will make Fed nomination announcements ‘fairly quickly’ -Breaking

GLASGOW (Reuters), – On Tuesday, President Joe Biden indicated that the White House will make an announcement on his nominees for U.S. Federal Reserve Chairman “fairly quickly.”

Biden said to reporters that his thoughts have been focused on personnel decisions. This includes whether to renominate Fed Chair Jerome Powell. Biden also stated that he believed there would be enough time to get his nominees for central banks cleared by Senate before the current term ends.
