(Reuters) Activision Blizzard Inc shares dropped 10% Tuesday, after Jen Oneal, the Blizzard Co-Leader decided to resign after just three months of service and the firm’s forecast for weak quarterly adjusted sales.

Oneal was named alongside Mike Ybarra and said that she will be leaving the company at the end the year in order to concentrate more on diversity within the gaming industry.

Activision faces claims of sexual harassment and discrimination in its workplace. Bobby Kotick, the Chief Executive of Activision had requested that his compensation be reduced to meet gender-related targets.

Activision continued to see a steady increase in monthly active users, at 390 million, even though the pandemic-related restraints were lifted. This indicates that there is a slower demand for video games.

It faces stiff competition from other companies. Electronic Arts Inc Take-Two and NASDAQ: also stated that net gaming bookings in-game were similar to the third quarter of 2020.

Activision is ready to launch “Call of Duty”, and it has strong titles such as “Overwatch 2,” and “Diablo Immortal”. It said that fourth quarter adjusted sales were expected to reach $2.78 Billion.

According to data from Refinitiv, analysts expected it to reach $2.93 trillion.

Santa Monica’s-based company had adjusted sales of $1.88 billion for its third quarter, which was in line with Wall Street expectations.
