AirAsia interested in potential Airbus A321neo freighter

The head of its cargo arm, said Wednesday.
According to Pete Chareonwongsak (CEO of AirAsia’s cargo division Teleport), AirAsia will try to convert some 362 passenger orders of the A321neo narrowbody into a dedicated freighter.

Airbus has not responded to my request for comment immediately.
Leeham News, an industry website reported that Airbus had been in discussions with customers regarding a new freighter variant of the A321neo. However, no announcement has been made.
