BitTorrent Chain Official Launched with Election Super RepresentativesTRON, one of the world’s largest and most popular blockchain-based operating systems, and BitTorrent, the leader in peer-to-peer protocols and products, announced the official launch of BitTorrent Chain (BTTC) on October 30th, 2021. BTTC marks TRON and BitTorrents’ first-ever foray into the cross-chain field, heralding the advent of a whole new era! BTTC, which was co-developed with the core teams from BitTorrent and TRON is the first heterogeneous interoperability protocol that uses TRON. It uses a PoS consensus protocol, which deploys multiple Super Representatives in order to verify transactions. The protocol is also compatible with EVM. BTTC is compatible with TRON and Binance Smart Chain (BSC), and will allow users to move mainstream assets between TRON and Ethereum in a decentralized fashion without restrictions.
The BitTorrent Chain (BTTC), which is a global community-based network, has launched the BTTC Super Representative application. This will allow the organization to further improve the ecosystem. The role of Super Representatives has been vital in the evolution of public chains. They help ensure that the public chain systems work smoothly and also represent the decentralization value of blockchain. In order to become Super Representatives on the PoS Chain, individuals or institutions must hold a minimum amount of tokens. Rewards will be given to Super Representatives who perform their duties.
BitTorrent Chain is committed to creating a TRON-friendly ecosystem. It welcomes participation from outstanding institutions as well as project teams. After the application has been closed, participants will be notified and can officially vote for the BTTC Super Representative.
TRON will see the election of BitTorrent Chain’s (BTTC), Super Representatives. BTT holders are able to cast votes by stake during the election. Anyone can vote in this totally decentralized BTTC Super Representative election. BTT owners will also be able to stake their votes and receive staking rewards.
The election channel is closed when the Super Representative quota or BTT staking volumes reach the maximum limit. Users can become Super Representatives and earn some BTT to participate in community governance.
