KENOSHA (Wis.) – The jury saw a number of graphic videos Wednesday that showed the moment Kyle Rittenhouse shot and killed three Wisconsin protestors last year. One man was left motionless, bleeding, and the other screaming for help.

Rittenhouse (18), who was charged with the murders of two men and injuring another with a semiautomatic rifle during the unrest in Kenosha, Aug. 25, 2020 watched the videos peacefully but kept his eyes from the screen.

He has pleaded no guilty, and he says that he acted in self defense.

A pool report from the courtroom shows that one juror placed his reading glasses on his forehead while he watched graphic scenes. He rubbed his cheeks anxiously and nudged the glass against his face as the jury viewed them.

Thomas Binger, Kenosha County Assistant district attorney showed video of Joseph Rosenbaum. Some jurors were uncomfortable in their seats as he moved motionless.

Put pressure on it! One person can be heard shouting as the crowd gathers and attempts to help Rosenbaum who had just thrown a bag containing toiletries at Rittenhouse. They chase him. “Where is the hole?” Rosenbaum’s head is being pressed by another individual, who screams.

Binger called Martin Howard, Kenosha’s police detective to discuss the video evidence. Howard claimed that no evidence was available to prove Rosenbaum had been armed at the time he was being shot.

Howard stated, “I only see the plastic bag that he’s carrying.”

Rittenhouse was dressed in a dark blue suit with a yellow and royal-blue tie. He sat silently and showed no emotion as he viewed the clips. Later, Rittenhouse ran from the Rosenbaum scene as other people sought medical assistance.

Rittenhouse runs down the street when some people shout “Get him!” and Rittenhouse has several violent encounters. Rittenhouse kills Anthony Huber (26) who was attempting to hit him with his skateboard. Gaige Grosskreutz (27), is also wounded by the bullet that he received. Grosskreutz, who was carrying a gun when he was killed, was also holding a pistol.

“I need a fucking medic!” Grosskreutz screams in one video, with blood gushing from his arm.

Howard’s lawyers will have the opportunity to question Rittenhouse and they will most likely highlight Rittenhouse’s actions. This includes Rosenbaum’s pursuit and Huber’s use of his Skateboard and Grosskreutz being arm-waived.

Mark Richards, defense lawyer, claimed on Tuesday that Rosenbaum was “the one who lit the fuse that evening.”

Some legal experts https://www.reuters.com/world/us/prosecutors-face-tough-test-trial-us-teenage-protest-shooter-rittenhouse-2021-10-28 have said the prosecution faces a tough task in convincing a jury that Rittenhouse did not fear for his life. Wisconsin law allows people to use deadly force to stop someone from causing serious bodily injury or killing them.

Rittenhouse, who is believed in gun freedom and has been a hero among conservatives, sees the Kenosha massacre as justifiable. Many on the Left see Rittenhouse’s actions as evidence of an unhealthy gun culture.

Two nights prior to the shootings, Jacob Blake was shot by a white officer in Kenosha. This left him seriously injured. The incident happened against the backdrop national protests regarding racism and police brutality, following the murder in May 2020 of George Floyd (another Black man) by a Minneapolis cop.
