Endaoment, a blockchain-based non-profit organizationIt raised over $7 million in donations for charity during its first year, marking another milestone for the fast-growing cryptocurrency donation industry.
Endaoment’s donor-advised funds, or DAFs, have been distributed to more than 100 nonprofits over the past year, the company announced Thursday. Endaoment reported that it had distributed approximately 60% of donations over the past year, which is significantly more than the traditional DAF average of 22%. Robbie Heeger, Endaoment’s president and CEO, credited on-chain technology for its high distribution rates. Cointelegraph was informed by Heeger that Endaoment had onboarded more than 200 companies to date. Additionally, contracts are in place for over 300 companies.
