New York City union reaches agreement on vaccine mandate with NYC administration -Breaking

(Reuters) – New York City’s District Council 37 public sector employee union and its Mayor Bill de Blasio administration reached a deal on Thursday regarding a COVID-19 mandate for more than 55,000 city workers.

District Council members 37 who do not have proof that they have received at least one dose will be allowed to resign from their positions or take leave. Employees will still have access to health benefits in either case, according the union in a statement.
