U.S. administers 428 million doses of COVID-19 vaccines

(Reuters) – As of Friday morning, 428,006,540 vaccines for COVID-19 had been administered in America. The United States Centers for Disease Control and Prevention reported that 531,000,000,645 of these doses were distributed.

These figures represent an increase in vaccine dosages, which the CDC stated had reached arms as of Nov. 4 from 528,775,895 total doses.

It stated that 222,902,939 people received at least one dose of vaccines, and 193,425,862 had been fully vaccinated as per the agency’s reporting. ET, Friday

Two-dose vaccinations are included in the CDC tally Moderna (NASDAQ:) and Pfizer/BioNTech,, as well as Johnson & Johnson (NYSE:)’s one-shot vaccine.

A booster dose has been administered to approximately 22.3 millions people. Pfizer (NYSE:), Moderna or Johnson & Johnson’s COVID-19 vaccine.

Booster doses from Moderna and Johnson & Johnson were authorized by the U.S. health regulator on Oct. 20.
