U.S. offers rewards up to $5 million each in hunt for 4 suspected Mexican drug traffickers -Breaking

MEXICO CITY, (Reuters) – The United States announced Friday that it would pay up to $5,000,000 each to information leading to convictions or arrests of four Mexican drug traffickers. This includes the brother of Joaquin El Chapo’ Guzman, a drug lord in Mexico.

Aureliano Guzman Lera, El Chapo’s younger brother, is charged with operating under the Sinaloa cartel umbrella, together with Ruperto Salgueiro Nevarez Jose Salgueiro Nevarez e Heriberto Salgueiro Nevarez.

A statement from the State Department stated that they were indicted for violating U.S. drugs laws.

The Department of Justice has announced Friday that the indictments against these men were made for violations of international narcotics laws. These include moving fentanyl which is a 50-times more powerful than heroin.
