France stocks higher at close of trade; CAC 40 up 0.26% -Breaking

Investing.com – France stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.

Paris closed with an increase of 0.26%. The index gained 0.24%.

ArcelorMittal SA was the best performer of the session, rising 3.39% or 0.95 point to trade at 28.95 by the close. Eurofins Scientific SE(PA:) gained 2.38%, or 2.38 points, to trade at 102.24. Alstom Late trade saw SA (PA) rise 1.31%, or 0.41 point to 31.79

They were also the session’s worst performers Bouygues SA (PA) fell by 6.35%, or 2.26 points, to close at 33.33 Worldline SA (PA:), fell 2.76%, or 1.47 points, to finish at 51.87 Vivendi SA (PA:), was at 10.94 with a drop of 1.53%.

These were the top performers on SBF 120 Eramet SA (PA) rose 4.9% to 71.05; Solutions 30 SE was up 4.13% at 7.57, and ArcelorMittal SA(AS:), which gained 3.39% at close at 28.95.

Bouygues SA(PA:), which fell 6.35% at 33.33 in late trading, Covivio SA [PA:] which dropped 2.83% at 74.92, and JC Decaux SA (“PA:”) which declined 2.77% at 24.56 at closing.

The Paris Stock Exchange saw rising stocks surpassing declining stocks by 316 to 298 while 97 was unchanged.

The implied volatility index of CAC 40 options was at 0% to 18.96, a 6-month high.

For December delivery, Gold Futures rose 0.36% to $1823.35 per troy an ounce. In commodities trading, crude oil for December delivery rose 0.42 percent to $81.69 per barrel. The January Brent oil contract rose 0.42 percent to $83.17 per barrel.

EUR/USD was 0.2% higher at 1.1589 and EUR/GBP decreased by 0.2% at 0.8546.

At 94.032, the US Dollar Index Futures fell 0.30%.
