Uber Teams Up With Serve Robotics for Deliveries -Breaking

Investing.com — Serve Robotics has announced that it has joined forces with Uber Technologies Inc Uber Eats Los Angeles customers will soon have robotic delivery from (NYSE:).
Uber shares fell 1.3% Monday.
Serve Robotics is a company that designs, builds, and maintains zero-emission robotics. These robots are designed to serve public areas, mostly through food delivery.
Dr. Ali Kashani (co-founder, CEO) of Serve Robotics stated that Uber is their first commercial partner. “Uber will be a strong demand source for us because we use contactless delivery in community commerce at large.”
Uber Eats L.A. customers will soon be able to access the new service, said Uber.
“We are excited to partner with Serve Robotics to test a new kind of delivery in Los Angeles, that’s safe, reliable and environmentally friendly,” said Sarfraz Maredia, VP and Head of Uber Eats in the U.S. & Canada.
Maredia stated that Uber wants to explore the potential of its technology.
