Although many investors are enthusiastic about the potential of the cryptocurrency, some investors may feel apprehensive due to the volatility. However, stocks with high growth such as Ovintiv Inc., ArcelorMittal, and ON Semiconductor Corporation offer potential for solid gains while exhibiting a higher volatility. It makes sense. Share prices rose because the economy was recovering and businesses that flourish in such an environment enjoyed a rebound. In the recent weeks however, stocks that are growth have been in demand. In fact, the Invesco S&P 500 Pure Growth ETF (RPG) is up 14.9% since October 4th. That compares extremely favorably to the S&P 500’s 8.9% gain.

Investors have also been interested in Bitcoin this year, as the cryptocurrency has hit new records. Bitcoin, however is more volatile than most growth stocks. Bitcoin was at $63,229.04 at the peak in April. It then dropped to $29 796.15 in July.

This is a significant decline. The cryptocurrency rebounded and reached new heights but that level of volatility makes it best for side trading accounts, not primary portfolios. You should consider high-growth stocks such as Ovintiv Inc. (OVV), ArcelorMittal Inc. (MT) and ON Semiconductor Corporation(ON). These stocks have the potential to deliver strong performance, but also offer a fair amount of volatility.
