Japan coalition agree on income cap for stimulus payments to children -media -Breaking

TOKYO (Reuters – Japan’s ruling coalition agreed on a 9.6-million yen ($84.693) annual limit for stimul payments. 100,000 yen will be paid in cash, and coupon money will be distributed to children up to 18. Local media reported Wednesday.

Komeito, a smaller member of the coalition, accepted the plan as it was proposed by the Liberal Democratic Party. They also reached an official agreement at a Wednesday meeting between the leaders, according to media reports.
