REUTERS/Phil Noble/File PhotographGLASGOW (Reuters). – America is helping to achieve climate success by “collaboration, and not… condescension”, with other nations who are more ahead due to “the dark period” of former President Donald Trump, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi announced Wednesday.
She said that “America is back” to reporters at the COP26 conference. This was a repeat of a phrase Joe Biden, the U.S. president, used throughout the event.
“Our president was there, there were numerous successes that were accomplished in collaboration, not dictation, condescension but in cooperation–with other nations, many of which are ahead because we had, naturally, the dark period four years prior to the President Biden’s Administration coming into office.”
