Volkswagen Ranks 3rd Among NEV Makers in China, Chairman Says -Breaking

Investing.com — Herbert Diess (CEO:), Chairman of Volkswagen Group’s Board, posted on LinkedIn that the company is now ranked third in China among NEV producers.
Volkswagen’s shares dropped 1.7% on Wednesday.
“With almost 13.000 e-cars sold in October, VW outperformed local competitors like Nio (NYSE:), Xpeng (NYSE:) or Li Auto Inc (NASDAQ:) and now ranks No.3 among all NEV manufacturers,” Diess posted.
He also stated that ID.4 models received top scores from China’s leading safety institutes.
His comments were that “The ID.4X received All Good in a Crash Test by C-IASI, and the ID.4 CROZZ obtained the best ever result at the Side Pole Impact at China Automotive Engineering Research Institute.”
The ID.4 already has top safety ratings from the EU NCAP as well as US NHTSA.
