France stocks higher at close of trade; CAC 40 up 0.13% -Breaking

Investing.com – France stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.

The index rose 0.6% to close in Paris.

ArcelorMittal SA: (AS:), up 3.98%, or 1.09 point to close at 28.45. Eurofins Scientific SE (+3.56%) gained 3.60 points to close at 104.74, while STMicroelectronics N (PA:), was up 1.95 points or 0.85 to 44.25 late trade.

They were also the worst performers of the session. Alstom SA (PA) fell by 5.34%, or 1.87 points, to close at 33.14 Renault SA (PA) fell 3.69%, or 1.26 point to reach 33.03. WFD Unibail rodamco NV was down 2.96% or 2.03 to 66.61.

Top performers in the SBF 120 competition were Eramet SA (PA.) rose 5.33%, to 73.15 Aperam SA (AS) was at 51.74, up 4.31%; ArcelorMittal SA(AS:), which rose 3.98% to end at 28.45.

Alstom SA, (PA) was the worst performer. It fell 5.34% to 33.14 late trade. Spie SA (PA) lost 4.05% and settled at 21.82. Trigano SA (PA.:), which fell 3.76% at the close to 166.20

On the Paris Stock Exchange, falling stocks outnumbered advancing by 301–289 while 104 ended unaffected.

For December delivery, Gold Futures rose 0.86% to $1864.15 per troy an ounce. In commodities trading, crude oil for December delivery rose 0.55 or 0.68% to $81.89 per barrel. The January Brent oil contract rose 0.39 or 0.47% to $83.03 per barrel.

EUR/USD fell 0.07% at 1.1470 while EUR/GBP rose by 0.05% at 0.8565.

At 95.013, the US Dollar Index Futures rose 0.18%.
