Investing.com – The Honest Company stock (NASDAQ:) surged 12% Thursday as the company sold more diapers and skin and personal care products to go past analysts’ estimate for its third-quarter revenue.

The categories diapers, wipes, skin and personal care led the year-on-year growth in revenue of approximately 6% to $83 millions. They grew together by 20% over the third quarter 2020. This was partially offset partly by a decrease in household products and wellness products.
Additionally, the company saw increased distribution and closed September with 40,000 retail outlets.
Diapers and wipes contributed 65% of the company’s third-quarter revenue.
After trailing digital for several quarters, more people are now vaccinated.
After the pandemic, consumer demand for disinfecting and sanitizing products declined and sales of household and wellness products were affected.
