China warns U.S. not to support Taiwan independence

BEIJING (Reuters). Wang Yi, a top Chinese diplomat, has told Antony Blinken to not send “wrong signals” about Taiwan to pro-independence forces. The statement was made by China’s foreign minister on Saturday.

The men spoke out about the virtual meeting of Chinese President Xi Jinping with U.S. President Joe Biden, Tuesday Asia time.
