Investing.com – Japan stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.

The gained 0.56 percent at the Tokyo close.

These were the best performers of the session Mitsubishi Motors Corp. T:, which rose 4.69% (or 18.0 points) to trade at 402.0 by the close. Yokohama Rubber Co Ltd was also up 3.77%, or 72.0 points, to close at 1093.0.

They were also the session’s worst performers Nippon Express Co. Ltd. T:, which dropped 5.80% or 420.0 point to trade at 6820.0 by the close. Ebara Corp. The (T:), fell 5.01% to 320.0 points and ended at 6070.0 Dai Nippon Printing Co. Ltd. T: was at 2814.0, down 3.89% (114.0 points).
