WASHINGTON (Reuters), Monday’s watchdog report stated that NASA does not expect to be able, in 2025, to launch a crewed lunar landing mission. This raised doubts about the cost of this project.

NASA extended last week its goal date to send astronauts back to Earth to 2025, according to its Artemis program. NASA’s inspector general stated that NASA expects it to surpass its 2024 deadline by several years. NASA also failed to provide a cost estimate complete and precise that included all Artemis costs.
