© Reuters. Home Depot Revenue Beats in Q3Investing.com – Home Depot (NYSE:) Tuesday reported that the third quarter beat analyst forecasts, and that revenue exceeded expectations.
Home Depot reported earnings per share at $3.92 on revenues of $36.82B. Investing.com polled analysts and predicted EPS at $3.41 on revenues of $34.83B.
Home Depot shares rose 39% over the first of the year but are down 1.08% from October 29’s 52-week peak of $375.15. They are outperforming the S&P 500 which is up 24.67% from the start of the year.

Home Depot’s earnings report is following an Amazon.com miss in October. Amazon.com reported EPS for $110.81B on revenues of $110.81B. Forecasts were for EPS to be $8.9 on revenues of $111.55B.
Tesla exceeded expectations by beating all forecasts on October 20, with third-quarter EPS at $1.86 on $13.76B of revenue. This compares to the $1.62 expected for revenue of $14B.
