TOKYO (Reuters), Honda Motor Co stated Thursday that Japanese auto factories will resume normal operations in December. This is after they were operating at 90% this month because of a shortage and supply disruptions due to COVID-19 lockdowns.

Honda announced in a statement, that two of the domestic production plants will resume normal operations in the first quarter of December.

The maker of Fit and CR-V models lowered its full-year profit outlook earlier this month. This was due to production delays and increasing materials costs.

Top Japanese automaker Toyota Motor (NYSE:) Corp also stated last week that it will begin making up lost December production, and factories in the home would return to normal for first time in seven years.
