Fed’s Daly says dependent care is essential to supporting work -Breaking

(Reuters] – The high amount of job listings and low unemployment rates do not mean everyone who wants to work can find a job. Some people require more assistance, Mary Daly from San Francisco Federal Reserve stated on Thursday.

Daly stated that “just because the unemployment rate in the labor market is low does not mean that everybody who desires a job will be able to get it.” He spoke during a virtual conference on care work. Dependent care is an important ingredient in supporting work.
