Exclusive-Uber takes new trip with cannabis delivery in Ontario -Breaking

(Reuters) – Uber’s takeout and delivery unit, NYSE:, has partnered up with Tokyo Smoke, a cannabis retailer, to enable online orders of cannabis through Uber Eats, Ontario, Canada. This partnership marks the company’s first venture into this business, a spokesperson stated.

Uber already supplies liquor via its Eats division. It has been focusing its attention on the growing cannabis market since a while. Its CEO Dara Khosrowshahi told media https://cnb.cx/3HL1R5I in April the company will definitely consider delivering cannabis when the legal coast is clear in the U.S.
