NFT music marketplace Royal raises $55M in Series A round -Breaking

Royal Music, an online music platform that is chain-based, announced the completion of a Series A financing round. It was led by Andreessen Horowitz, a venture capitalist.

Royal lets music fans purchase rights using nonfungible tokens, or NFTs. The co-founders of Royal are JD (NASDAQ) Ross, an entrepreneur, and Justin Blau, a DJ who goes under the stage name 3LAU. AnnouncementAfter a $16million seed round, they closed the Series A financing of $55 million on November 23.
