Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.

Saudi Arabians were among the top performers in the sessions on the. Amiantit Co. (SE:) traded at 17.02 after the close, up 6.64%. That’s 1.06 point. Meanwhile, Filing & Packing Materials Co. (SE:) added 6.00% or 3.00 points to end at 53.00 and Abdullah Al Othaim Markets Company (SE:) was up 5.31% or 5.80 points to 115.00 in late trade.

Taiba Holding Co.(SE:), down 5.56%, or 2.05 points, to trade at 34.85 by the closing. National Metal Manufacturing Co.(SE:), fell 2.3% or 0.85 to finish at 28,15. Meanwhile, The Saudi British Bank (SE;) dropped 2.38% or 0.75 to reach 30,80.

Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange witnessed rising stocks outnumbering declining stocks by 170, 40, and 4 respectively.

Crude oil rose 1.38%, or 1.06, to $77.81/barrel for January delivery. Brent oil, which was due for delivery January 1, rose by 1.68%, 1.34, to reach $81.04/barrel. Meanwhile, the December Gold Futures contract lost 0.83% (or 14.95) to trade at $1791.35 per troy ounce.

EUR/SAR was up 0.1% to 4.2209, and USD/SAR was up 0.1% to 3.7515.

US Dollar Index Futures were down 0.6% to 96.483.
