Apple sues NSO Group, company known for hacking iPhones on behalf of governments

Apple is the latest company to offer this feature. suedNSO Group in Israel, a company selling software to law enforcement agencies and government agencies. It allows them hack iPhones and to read data including communications.

Amnesty International was founded earlier this year. saidIt discovered that NSO Group malware had infected iPhones of journalists and lawyers.

Apple announced Tuesday, in a statement, that attacks on the iPhone were limited to a select few customers. It also said Tuesday it would notify iPhone users who may have been affected by the software it refers TO FORCEEDENTRY.
