NEW YORK, (Reuters) – Mary Daly of San Francisco Federal Reserve Bank stated Wednesday that she sees the need to accelerate the taper pace and is open to it if the inflation stays high and job growth remains strong.

In a Yahoo Finance interview published Wednesday, Daly stated that “if things continue to go the way they are doing,” she would support tapering at a faster pace. Daly stated that she wants to review more economic data on inflation and employment and discuss it with Fed colleagues before making a decision.
